The Butterfly Effect

When the movie "The Butterfly Effect" came out, starring Ashton Kutcher, it got a ton of pretty bad reviews, so I decided not to watch it. But last night, I watched it on my hotel TV and loved it! The main concept here is "if you could go back and change the past, would you, and what would the side effects be?" Every time he changes his past to correct a particular problem, another, and often worse, problem pops up. The question then becomes: is there a particular combination of changes that result in an overall good outcome? It made me think about my own past. If I could go back and change events, what would I change? I have at least a couple of events in mind that I'd definitely go back and fix!

I also really enjoyed that movie. It was a very cleaver idea I thought.

Destiny

  • Destiny is my science fiction movie about the future of humanity. It's an epic, similar in breadth and scope to 2001: A Space Odyssey.
