Eileen Collins, the commander of the Discovery Space Shuttle, is an awesome role model for women. Just check out her incredible bio.
It's interesting to hear her talking with mission control; she's very calm, collected, and good humored. A consummate professional.
Come to think of it, she's not just a great role model for women, she's a great role model for everyone.
