An interesting problem! How does one assign value to a product whose real payoff is thousands of man-hours away?

As an owner and builder of a company like that, I'd imagine that you were at a tremedous disadvantage.

Seems like you learned from your error, though. Nice to see you at webMethods... ;-)


Reminds me of the 'ol 'Time value of money' idea. And of course they always say to take the money now. As long as you have somewhere else promising to invest it. :-)
