Democrats will be against this as sure as Republicans would be against such an amendment if it were George Soros rather than "Ahnold".

I'm not sure where I stand on this. I don't think it should be amended simply because one party has a particularly charismatic figure on hand.


Not sure how I feel about this in principle, but anything that kept Henry Kissinger from becoming president was ok with me. Arnold Schwardenegger, too, I suppose.


I'm all for it. It gives me hope that someday I too can run for the big office.

I don't think that the constitution should be changed simply to enable Arnold, but he is a good data point to raise the issue. If the US believes in choice, then it should allow any candidate to run and let the voters decide.
