Stephane

Maybe Paris Hilton needs media lights to be happy, and Eileen Collins prefers discretion?

Hi Stephane, It's possible, but I doubt that this is the reason. Cheers, Graham

The problem with our society is that we are obsessed the frivolous and shallow world of the image that Paris Hilton portrays. The chic looks good, creates controversy and therefore marketeers love her because she SELLS.. She is a puppet of the media, and a doll of the retail world. Through her sexual conotations she sells. And sex, as we know, has historically been used to sell anything. I do not understand the big obsession with it. Furthermore, Eileen Collins is a "scientist" and probably doesn't have he same appeal marketeers are looking for. It's the masses that command who is a the top of the exposure game. I believe that if the management heads and the board of directors of firms like, Gucci, Guess, and Carl Jr., all firms where Paris Hilton is a spokesperson, decided that Paris Hilton was out, and Eileen Collins was the new hot thing, then all of sudden I think her status as a societal icon would take off like a rocket. :-)

I nominate Eileen Collins for
presidential candidate for the next general elections. What a steady, confident, inspiring leader.

Destiny

  • Destiny is my science fiction movie about the future of humanity. It's an epic, similar in breadth and scope to 2001: A Space Odyssey.
