I enjoy the buzz of city living, and am considering a move from Georgetown, Washington D.C. to Manhattan, New York.
I'm paying so much for my current apartment that I don't think it will cost much more to live in NY. And even though you don't need a car in NY, I love my SL55 so much that I'll probably end up keeping it in a garage for the duration of my stay.
I've heard that there's a fairly vibrant software scene in the so-called "Silicon Alley" area, and the social scene is of course second to none.
If anyone has any advice on living in Manhattan, please let me know.
Welcome to New York! Graham! Can’t waiting to meet you again!
We met briefly 5 or 6 years ago in the then world trader center when you were the CTO of ObjectSpace.
Manhattan is great! But suburb of New York is even better. Places like Scarsdale
And Chappaqua, where Clinton and yours truly currently live, are really awesome
For both kind of world: Modern dynamic in the day, quite peaceful in the night!
Or Modern dynamic in the night and quite peaceful in the evening!
