I follow politics and often get frustrated at rules and decisions that go against my personal values. Instead of ranting, I thought it might be more enjoyable and constructive to design a new constitution that would address many of my grievances.
Here is a list of the topics that I will cover in this series:
- Objectives and Philosophy
- The role of Government
- Personal responsibility
- Taxation
- Charity
- Welfare
- Military
- Natural Resources
- Disasters
- Religion

- Healthcare
- Insurance
- Law
- Citizenship
- Intellectual Property and Patents
- Abortion
- Right to Die
- Marriage
- Banking
- Transportation
- Environment

If there are any important topics that I've left out, please let me know.

Hi Patrick,
What do you mean by "children"? Any particular aspect, such as age of legal responsibility, labor laws, age of consent?
Cheers,
Graham

Interesting topic. I suggest looking at the constitution for South Africa. I think they have the most admirable constitution in the world today.

Graham,
Incidentally, have you become a U.S. Citizen, are you British, or do you hold joint citizenship?
