One day we'll awaken to the news that a newly discovered asteroid is headed for earth and we have only a few years to prepare for impact... what will we do with that time? What would you do?

Graham Glass

Hi David,

Good question! I would do several things:

1. Prepare to defend myself adequately during the remaining few years.

2. Assuming it was a big asteroid, I doubt if there would be any way to realistically survive an impact, so I'd assume I would die along with everyone else on the planet.

3. Enjoy as much time with friends and family as possible.

Alan Brown

I would rather launch something into space that can start pushing that thing off course

  • Destiny is my science fiction movie about the future of humanity. It's an epic, similar in breadth and scope to 2001: A Space Odyssey.
